AA Signature Extreme USB Audio Cable

Description

We refreshed this cable to AA SiG XT USB Mk2 in 2025.  It has separate sleeves for data and power resulting in lower noise floor.  It also has better flexibility when orienting the USB plugs.

Our Signature Extreme USB audio cable uses combination of silver gold alloy wires for data and pure silver wires for power delivery, giving the ultimate tonal balance and musicality.

Cable Construction

The above diagram gives the inner view of the cable where exotic audio components sourced from various countries are used.  As the USB2 data lines characteristic impedance depends on the twisting geometry of the data pair, i.e. the distance between the twisted conductors, bending the cable too much can alter its impedance value.  It is important to treat the cable gently when connecting from the source to the DAC.

During cable construction, we test the USB2 data pair to be within 90 ± 5 Ω, tighter than USB2 specifications of 90 Ω ± 15% or 90 ± 13.5 Ω.

Time to build: 2 days + overnight (~12 hours) accelerated break in using USB 1.1 DAC

Warranty

• 2-year limited warranty. Cable should not be bent excessively but gently
• Please hold the USB A or B connector when connecting and disconnecting, not the wire.
